Monochromatic ion and electron beams: new sources and applications
This mini-symposium will bring together two different communities: that of monochromatic/ultrafast, focused ion and electron beam users and that of ultracold atoms.
Quelques présentations sont en ligne.
This mini symposium takes place in the framework of the Gulfstream project. The aim of this mini-symposium is to present the state-of-the-art of some sources and applications. Moreover, it tries to explore the question of how the extreme control allowed by laser cooling of neutral particles can introduce of ground-breaking new ion/electron sources.
The variety of advanced applications in different fields, microscopy nanofabrication, imaging, spectroscopy, requires new tools and sources of charged particles.
